Current Virtue: Creativity
Creativity is the power of imagination. Creativity is a way to develop your special talents. It is seeing something in a new way, finding a different way to solve a problem. Creativity is using your imagination to bring something new into the world.

From the Principal's Desk
As we travel with the speed of light towards the end of Term 3, I pause to reflect on the amazing things we have achieved at Phoenix Primary School this term. Schools are very busy places; teachers cannot waste a minute because there is now so much to teach and at the same time we are trying to add the extras. Over the last term it has been NED (yoyos), Jeans for Genes Day, House Cross Country, Interschool Cross Country, Book Week, Science Week, heritage storytelling, House Athletics Carnival, assembly items, Fathers’ Day stall and now swimming for the Pre-Primary, Year 1 & 2 students. In between, teachers trained our children for the House Carnival held last week. Congratulations to Davilak, the winning House, and to all the champions. I would like to thank and acknowledge the work Mrs Lawler did to organise the carnival and to thank all the parents and family members who assisted in the clearing away of sports equipment on our sports day when it started to rain. Thank you sincerely....Read More
Independent Public School
We are pleased to announce that Phoenix Primary School has now been awarded the status of an Independent Public School. This is largely due to the information gathered through the DISA (Diagnostic Inventory of School Alignment) survey and we would like to thank all the students, parents and staff who participated. A special thank you to Janine Paruscio (parent) who made a special presentation to the selection board. This is a great achievement for our school. Would you like to know more? Microscopes Donated by Rotary
This term at Phoenix Primary School we have been studying Biological Science. The Year 5/6 class are focusing on micro-organisms. After learning about Anton van Leeuwenhoek (1632-1732) who was a microscope maker, the students have had the opportunity to each use microscopes in the classroom. Rotary Club donated the classroom set of microscopes to Phoenix Primary School. Click Here for Photos
