What a fantastic term it has been so far. We have been so busy and can’t believe it’s already week 6.

We have been busy learning our new Talk 4 Writing story, “The Papaya That Spoke.” This is a journey narrative story about a farmer who is hungry and tries to eat a papaya, the papaya then talks to him and many other strange things happen along his journey.

In Numeracy, we have been working hard on building upon our knowledge and speed when it comes to basic facts. We won the award for the ‘Most Improved Senior Class’ at the week 6 assembly. We have also been focusing on money, fractions and categorising angles.

Year 3's have been learning about night and day in Science. Students have been spending lots of time outside in the sunshine investigating shadows and how they move depending on the time of day.

Keep working hard B4!

Thanks,

Ms Clapsis and Miss Sedgwick
