C3 Art Display

I was lucky enough to have some time to visit the Phoenix art display at Port Coogee Village Shopping Centre. It was fantastic to see our keyhole pieces hanging so proudly!

Don't forget to head down and have a look. You can vote for your favourite art work from the display, including our class's pieces. The voting runs until the August 31.

C3 Art

We would love for you to come into our classroom and look at some of our amazing artwork. The children have been creating some very impressive work. Here are some samples for you:

Welcome back to term 3

Welcome back everyone! So happy to see all your smiling faces for the second half of the year. Term 3 will be super busy with all sorts of activities, so keep your eyes on Connect and on the newsletters. Edudance has started today, and since we were the first class to have everyone pay, we get the prime position of being the first group to dance.

Week 4 - Term 2 2017

We are working hard in C3, learning about the Industrial Revolution and its effects on settlement of Australia. On Thursday our students handed in their first week long assignment, which showed a high level of presentation and effort. We have also been getting some fantastic artwork up onto display in the classroom, please feel free to come in with your child in the morning or afternoon to have a look at their brilliant work. We have also been focusing on interpersonal relationships and how we treat our peers, which ties into the values certificates that are given out at assembly each fortnight.

Week 3 - Term 2 2017

This week has been super busy here in C3. NAPLAN started for our year 5s on Tuesday, with the Language Conventions test and the Writing test. It continued on Wednesday with the Reading Response test, and finished today with the Numeracy test. All our year 5s worked really hard and tried their best, which is all we can ask!

Please feel free to come in to see the classroom before or after school. We have lots of beautiful work up on the walls, showcasing the topics we are learning about at the moment.
